Task 4

Audience size has increased dramatically since the invention of Youtube. Especially as institutions have allowed the use of advertising on Youtube videos themselves, institutions are able to focus on their target audience (mainly teenagers depending on the genre of the video) shows such as The Inbetweeners for example, featured on Youtube, includes at least 3 advertisements one of which is always that of FaceJacker (Brian Bedoné) - famously known for its enormous youth audience. This allows institutions to force their way into more popular shows through the use of these compulsory advertisements, expecting inexperienced viewers/users to accidentally click on the link.
